Downloaded new map, but what folder does it go in to make it work?

Sorry, I am new to this. I downloaded a new map but I am not sure what folder it has to be placed in to load up in the game?

If you are playing local, then it goes into the mydocs/mygames/ut3/published/cookedpc/custommaps folder. If the sub folders don't exist, make them.

If on a server, ftp into it and put them into the cookedpc/maps folder. I found the servers to be a different folder to work properly.'

So far I put up a few custom maps on my server and they are working out nicely, Can't wait to see what other maps people make!

what folder did you put them in on the server? i put mine in the maps folder but nothing showa up
