when u model something like a house or Building how do u no how big to model it in 3ds max? would it be betta 2 model everything in max or use UE'd to make the buildings ?? sorry if thats such a newb question lol but im newb :)
anyway as i was saying if i modeld a build with everything inside do i jus re scale it in UE'd? also another newbie question is how do i get the model into UE'd? i made a simple terrain using hightmap in 3ds max exported it 2 .ase format and tryd to import it into the Static mesh tab and it works like i can see with default txture ect ect and click the add to lvl button and i see the wireframe/mesh/brush wateva its o.O but i cant umm.. make it work? i made a simple box map with a light and player spawn and added my terrain and build map load it and all i see is the shadow of wea it should be?
could someone please umm explain to me how im suppose to do it properly? or direct me to a very detailed way of doing it? and again im sorry for such a really newbie question ><
