Believe it's called the KillZone. Shortened to KillZ in the WorlfInfo. To access it, go to View, World Properties. The KillZone information is under the ZoneInfo tab.
As far as SkyDomes go, I just used the default ones in UN_Sky.upk (Might be UN_Skies.upk, but I think it's Sky. Not looking at it right now.) I think it's easier to use a pre-made one and then re-texture it later if you want.

Yup
UN.Sky i think, the skies are static meshes. There's also a "textureless" sky so you can add your own

Actually KillZ stands for the Z coordinate value, below which you are killed. Not really related to "zones".
If this lower height bound doesn't quite suite your needs, simply make a volume (triggervolume?) and hook it up to Kismet so anyone touching the volume is killed.

Ah, that makes much more sense. Don't remember it being explained to me in school during level editing.

Just make a Physics Volume and adjust the settings to "Pain Causing" and adjust the amount of pain in single-digit increments. I don't have the editor up at the moment (at work) so's cannot tell exactly where it is located. The fun with this is you can adjust how much pain per second is administered - from say 10% (slow death) to 100% (instant death). Hope this helps.
