View Full Version : A funny bug on Deck
I was just playing a bot match on Deck and fooling around with the feign death when I found this. As everyone knows, if you go up a lift and jump just before you reach the top your jump will be higher. Double jump at the peak of the lift with a small amount of forward momentum then press F to feign death. Your character will smack his/her head on the lead pipes and die. Useless, but funny to watch a few times.
Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmE5USFEr_8) is a YouTube link to a short video of this.

It's not a bug! If you liftjumped your head into lead pipes, would you expect to live?

Well you do so long as you aren't in ragdoll. :p

Do you take any damage doing this without feigning death?
Maybe the game is telling you to stop flying into pipes headfirst and go kill some krall!

I just did it on the spaceship level, just feigned death after launching off of an elevator and slammed into something that killed me.
I've been messing around some more and it seems you die whenever the ragdoll's face hits any solid object even at lower speeds. Deimos is a good place to see this. At times you can jump into a wall, feign, then die. It occurs more often in low gravity.
I'm wondering if this was intentional.
