Error Question

I am really new to map making and I have been watching the Tutorial videos that came with the LE version of the game but they seem to just pass over the thing I need to know, every time.

What does the error "Brush_(number here): Brush has NULL material reference (s).

I want to figure out how I can fix these. Thanks in advance!:)

It happens after I rebuild everything and the little box thats shows your maps errors if there are any.

I think this is when you have a brush just using the default material.

Will it make a difference when I want to publish it?

you should still be able to run it. I would just add a wall material to any brushes which have the standard tile material which you get when you subtract/add it.
This should remove the error.

Just like it said
-your brush or brushes doesnt have material asigned to it!
black and white default material in editor- means /brush has NULL MATERIAL/
