Hello There,

I'm new to both this forum and Unreal Ed 3. I bought the Special Edition of Unreal Ed 3 which came with some tutorial videos that have so far been great. Trouble is I've come accross a problem. When I go to place a static mesh into my map by right clicking and adding the actor. Nothing appears?

Just that ZXY symbol thingy? in the video a object appears but that is not happening for me. I've restarted Unreal Ed numurous times without sucess.
I have the object selected aswell so not sure whats causing it?

Does anyone know of this problem? if anyone can provide me some advice I would be greatful.

Thanks! :D

Try pressing W, at least in Unreal Editor 3 (the editor for Unreal Engine 3 is Unreal Editor 4 btw) it toggles showing smeshes on and off.

huh I thought I posted this answer yesterday? did you start 2 threads or something?

Oh and purely for information purposes the editor is not 'unreal editor 4' (nor 3) it's simply called ' unreal editor for [gamename]' now (there was a post about this from an Epic guy who stressed it quite strongly ;) )
