Crashes on every gametype but DM in Multiplayer

Anybody have this problem?

When I go to multiplayer (full UT3, the demo works fine) I can join DM servers, but when the maps are loading for any of the other gametypes, UT3 always crashes back to the desktop with the generic application closed, do you want to send a report to microsoft error. This is when I try to join the map - the server browser works fine.

This is a fresh WinXP install on an Athlon 64 X2 4000+, 2 gigs ram, GeForce 8600gt.

I Have the same problem.

I'll partially answer my own question :)

When I disable AVG Anti-Spyware I can load multiplayer VCTF maps - go figure.
Warfare maps still won't load w/out crashing - I haven't tried the other types yet.

I have NOD32 installed and would prefer not to disable that - but I am tempted to try temporarily and see if maybe the larger maps being read by the scanner are causing the crashes.

I had read about AVG vs. the UT3 demo in another forum - but they had to completely uninstall AVG. I just quit the app. from the task bar.

I have the same problem, its very annoying. I want to play Warfare, and i have gotten it to work about 2 times out of 30. I dunno wtf it is, but I can play DM no problem, every 1/4 times a map loads it will die. Just like it does for all the rest. At the moment Its too troublesome to play, although i really want to, its killing me. Guess my $50 will be sitting on the shelf for a while.

Im not running AVG. And yeah, ive gotten to play warfare like twice, then after that it just keeps crashing at the loading screen.

I have the same issue - This applies to both instant action and online. I cant seem to find any consistency with it working and not working. I have tried in windows / full screen / ini setting changes - nothing.

Ya i have the same "BS" i whent to exchange my copy i tought it was the game but now iam having the same problems again it could be my pc or the game gots bugs

with 1.01 Beta Patch the Game is now Crashing and i get the NV4_Disp Error More now My Freind Uses ATI Video Cards and he never has a problem with games i fine since 8 Series has come out First was FPS Bug Now Drivers and Random Crashes in Games now "UT3" Worse One Ever i Hope This Game will not Take 7 Patches like Stalker To Be Fixt this game is the best game ever and i hope it will be fix soon
