I was wondering what server companies i should look at for running a server as i am in the process of buying one. When i played 2k4 the clan i was with always had problems with bad server companies and i want to make sure i get a decent server that will run well. I want to make sure that it will run well and i would rather spend more than have a cheap server so price is not a huge factor in my choosing. I do want to run a ten man team death match server and maybe another eight man somewhat like the fractionary or purgatory in 2k4. If anyone has any suggestions on certain companies or what route to go it will be very much appreciated.
Thank You

Hi,
I run the UMG League we host servers for UT3 and UT2004.
All of our servers are located in Chicago, we use Internap and Savvis as our bandwidth providers. Our pricing starts at $3 a slot for a UT3 Server and $2 a slot for a UT2004 Server, these servers can be used as public or private.
If you want to test us out heres an IP:
74.63.66.154
This IP will also connect you to our UT3 DM if you want to check how our servers run.

I have the same problem with them. Can't get my mods working on the server, (zark and battlemod) but they run in single player mode just fine. I submit a ticket, they closed the ticket saying that it was fixed, but still nothing but vanilla DM.
Their online admin panel just plain DOES NOT WORK. After this month my money goes elsewhere.

Game Servers seems to be having some trouble with the UT3 servers. I'm hoping they can sort it out since I've never had a problem with them before. Our Art of War Central server is running pretty well right now though.

At this point in the games development, I think you have to change the command line to change the game, or maybe somebody out there can change it in mapvote? Don't know about battlemod, but if you are using pingfreak's Zark, I can't even get the thing to run on my client where all the cmd line and .ini changes are done through the UI.:(

Actually, I got the zark to finally work.
Seems that they "locked out" the "_" (underscore) symbol from being used in CMD startup editor, thus making it impossible to add the mod to the CMD startup. They finally made changes to allow it, however now the "," (comma) is "locked out," negating one from adding more than one mod.
The issue has been posted in the GS forums multiple times, and more than one support ticket has been filed, but after more than 8 hrs our requests to allow that edit is still being ignored. They may have problems, it happens, however keeping customers in the dark and ignoring our requests won't earn them any more of my business.

Multiplay have a USA location, however its currently full, if any spaces become available I will update here. We are also about a week away from opening up a server room in the Netherlands, once thats complete we will probably look at expanding our USA side. We have as much space as we need in the UK though so Europe is good for you to all order :)

Just checked up on this and we will have more servers available to rent in los angeles (west coast) and Virginia (East coast) around christmas time. We are aiming to get them installed before then however.
