[Request] InstaNONGib

I like playing with IG mutator, but then i shoot enemy it just pops with blood(gibbing). That looks bad.
Anyone could made some kind of mutator so players, killed with InstaGib gun will just die and ragdoll with some blood(Not blow up)?
Cos it looks like i'm playing some arcade game now. Ragdoll FTW! :D

can't you just disable gore in the options ? or in your ini's ....

Oo I don't see the point in turning off the blood in a game thats meant to be about killing people...

Get the German version of the game... or turn down the gore options.

I hope there will be an option to toggle gore on/off. After having played the German version for over a week now, I must say I like ragdolls waaaaay better than over the top flying body parts... it makes it look rather childish to be honest.
I play this game for the gameplay, and without the gore it looks more realistic.

How about InstaNail! Weapon is Stinger Altfire only.. so instead of gib they just stick to the wall/floor.

I actually always liked this kind of thing, gibbing looks dumb in today's games (I think Doom still has the best 'gib' effect I've seen). I would rather have so kind of fancy graphical effect when someone gets hit with the beam. Some weird flash and explosion, leaving a smoking skeleton or something.

Check out the InstaVape mod for 2k4, that's just the kind of thing I'm talking about.

Check out the InstaVape mod for 2k4, that's just the kind of thing I'm talking about.I agree. The gibbing was fun 10 years ago, but has gotten really old. Seeing a person disintegrate sounds much better.
What I really like is the headshot death-scene: the person stays standing (without a head), and after a second or so falls to his/her knees. * AWESOME *

Though I don't have a problem with regular gibbing, it would be seriously cool to also have a version with custom disintegration fx/smoking skeletons and such. :cool:

You can also just disable gore in the menu or buy a german ut3 :p

I'd like to see people get impaled with gibbed femurs and stuff.

And what about covering them in blood? If your buddy just gibbed and you were next to him, you should be covered in blood and brain

I think what you're looking for is something like Goldeneye's License to Kill mode.
