Seems we can't import UT2004 geometry / lights into the new editor, it just crashes for me if I attempt to. :(

The real question is, what's a wrestler doing playing with UnrealEd anyway?

Likewise, I tried to copy over some old BSP into the new editor and it died... I double checked to make sure it was running in subtractive mode, but still no luck... got to rebuild things from the ground up again...

Well that's lame, I was hoping I wouldnt have to reconstruct 800 brushes again

if you have 3ds max you can do this:

export all your bsp from UT2004 as an .obj
import the .obj into max
in max, flip face normals as necessary (some will be flipped)
export as an .ase
import .ase into UT3
use that static mesh as a template to recreate your layout.

Can't you export the whole map as unreal text?
