I responded to another topic with this question, but thought it might not be seen.

Has anyone figured out how to use Wotgreal with UT3? I downloaded the newest version and then loaded in the development version .exe and related files to get it to 3.06.

When I open it, it still looks like it did before and there are no UT3 classes for information. How do I make it a UT3 workspace and not have all the UT2004 stuff in there?

Thanks for any help in getting this setup correctly.

I managed to get it to start reading in the UT3 files by just adding in a new type of compile option and directing it to the proper directories (make sure you export your scripts, point all the stuff to there).

Unfortunatley I can't get it to browse code very effectively (ctrl click is effectively disabled right now..).

But yea, play around in the preferences etc. Not too bad.

I did start with a fresh install of ut3 and no ut2004

Add a new Gametype through Options->preferences->Edit game types click add and then point source dir to the exported scripts dir in your documents.

WOTgreal may be "compatible" with UT3, but it is definitely deficiently functional. You'll need to modify inis yourself (WOTgreal doesn't understand the new ini structure, nor ModPackages versus EditPackages). You'll have to redirect WOTgreal to also look for the new location of the ucc.log (on this topic, is anyone else seeing ucc.log fill up with errors in Epic packages?).

If you are using Vista, whenever you compile, are you also getting Vista's "program closed improperly" dialog box when you have you close the make window manually?
