Yes, have this since today, tried to bind Suicide to a key, since then I get this error. Resetting the ini, deleting the ini and re-installing the game didn't help ...:(

*Edit: Creating a new account doesn't work either ...

I'm having the same issue without making any changes to my ini.

This is an Epic problem - no doubt an error caused by the new patch.

The way this is going I'm gonna loose interest and play another game that actually works consistently online.

I don't know if can help... I found a solution around the web. I had same problem and I had to reset xp's tcp winsock

do this by opening a command prompt then running netsh

cmd
netsh
netsh>winsock
netsh>winsock>reset
exit

this will reset the winsock config back to default and clear any screwed up settings that prevent apps from accessing the network

in my pc works . ( winxp 64bit)
I can connect and login again.

Hello all, and thanks for the winsock tip. I started having the 'online service unavailable' message, looked on the web, and found this thread. The issue is most defiinitely the winsock settings. However, the reset was not so easy, using 32-bit XP. The netsh>winsock>reset and reboot resulted in no internet access at all on my pc. So 3 reboots later, went to add/remove windows compnonents, and reinstalled network services from the WinXP original cd. Then all was fine again after another reboot. Also deleted 'My Games/UT3' folder in My Documents before each reboot, as was mentioned in another post. UT3 online access is now back to normal, using latest patch and titan pack. Cheers

Having this problem right now. No patches that I'm aware of, though, so what could it be? Problems with the Epic servers?

Although similar to Garyall's fix, here is a fix that worked for me that I got from the Microsoft site:
The manual method to reset TCP/IP. The reset command is available in the IP context of the NetShell utility. How to use the reset command to reset TCP/IP manually:

1. To open a command prompt, click Start and then click Run type CMD then hit ENTER.
2. At the command prompt type the following command and then press ENTER:
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Note If you do not want to specify a directory path for the log file, use the following command:
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
3. Reboot the computer.

I can log into the game now but, no servers show up. My favorites show the servers but they all appear as down (9999 pings). When I click on a server I can get into the game.

This has the look of another Gamespy screwup. Will it ever end????????????
