What is wrong, it's been mentioned before and there's still no fix. The map looks fine when run from the ed but when you run the map from the actual game all the mesh's by Epic have the lowest LOD. I've cooked and published it, got the 3 shader files, and still have the issue. I've followed the list on how to play custom maps, it appears in the menu but the mesh's looks like crap.
Seriously, worked on this map for a huge amount of time, and I mean I started in Roboblitz, waste.
Also it doesn't appear in LAN search.

Someone tell me what's wrong, download and check, epic it would be nice if you checked it.^^

I have the same problem. I only made a test map to make sure everything worked ... and it didn't (static LOD issue), so I won't be making any full maps unless a fix is found.

I have been playing crysis the last few days, so I haven't really worried myself with the problem atm. But I can say for sure that it's very dissapointing that this hasn't been addressed yet. I admit I am a noob unreal editor, it could be something I am doing, but I don't think that is what it is. Hopefully as more people find this problem, someone will do something to fix it. For now I will wait before I spend any serious time editing.

when in the editor right click and set the lod level to high then publish it this worked for me hope it works for you.
if publishing doesn't work try to cook it.

You said to right click and set lod level to high, I don't see this option. If you mean set detail level to high, I tried it, and it doesnt solve the porblem. Not for me anyway. Thanks.

I don't know it happens in my test level with the GOW assets but in my level with all custom assets it looks fine.

Hi,
Try setting Properties - StaticmeshActor - Rendering - bForceMipStreaming true, and it'll render fine in game. I've set all my 3000 meshes or so to true and it's looking just fine now.
This is not the way it is suppose to be though, so it's not the perfect solution but it will fix the problem until a patch hopefully resolves the issue, some day...

Wow, nice job. This fix does work. Maybe it isn't the way it is supposed to be, but it does work. Good job! I still think it is odd we have to hack it, to make it work. Surely there is something we must be missing. But anyway, atleast it works for now.

Thanks there, is there a way to select all the static meshes at once instead of going through the entire level and picking them out? Considering the level is 90% static mesh..
edit-
Wow I can't believe I asked this. You right click on any mesh and select the option to select all static mesh actors.

I noticed if ... lets say you had 3 of the same static mesh in your level, just setting that property on one of the meshes, fixed it for all 3. In other words for me... if you change that property on 1 model/mesh, any other of the exact same mesh, you do not have to change. I still think it is a hack though. Not complaing though, I am glad it works.

Thank God for that feature! :)
Works great here too. Thx for tip!
