I have a problem when I add some structure with the red brush, i have recorded in video to make it easy to see whats happening...

this never happened to me making maps for unreal tournament...

Why there's seem to be something blocking the character after adding a cube?

Try pressing C, this turns on all collisions in the game.
Then just select the collision brush and delete.
If that doesnt solve it, just wait for others to respond :p
(sorry man im a noob)

lol

that is very strange

it might be a rpoblem with your BSP (or how youve constructed it)

make sure EVERYTHING lines on to teh grid PERFECT, i cannot stress this enough (although it already looks like your fluent with teh editor and know this already)

i get this issue when my BSP becomes "too" complex .. usualy when circular shapes are used that cannot snap to grid/line up perect with other bits (try making a circular ramp with a BSP wall on each side for example without intersecting)

anyways
if your BSPs clean try cut and pasteing it

first cutting.. rebuilt, then pasting.. or better yet into a new level all together

from looking at the vid i cant see anything youve done incorrectly so if the above doesnt work, hit me up on MSN and when i get home ill take a look for ya

hey i fixed the problem, it was the ground...

i created an additive map (for exteriors), but u see my map is in a interior, to create the room, i used a brush with Hollow option enabled and added it, u know the hollow option makes the cube with 2 edges, and i placed the bottom base of the cube inside the additive ground created before.

to fix it, i moved the hollowed cube (the room) some coordinates up to make it dont superpose on the ground.

u can see in the image what u DONT have to do hehe:

tnks to all :D
