Ok, first thing you need to do is go to the View menu (think thats the one) and goto World Properties. Find the World Info tab, and expand it. Check bIsMultiplayerMap. You can also fill in the Author and Title fields if you would like. Assuming you have all the spawn points in order, the only thing you need to do is publish the map. You can do this by clicking the button in the top right corner. There are actually two publish buttons, Click the one that says it loads faster, but takes longer to publish if you are looking for a final release, else you can go the slower loading / faster publishing route.

You have to make sure, before you publish, that your level is located in Documents/My Games/Gear of War for Windows/Wargame/Unpublished/CookedPC/Maps/CustomMaps

The CustomMaps name is crucial. Now when you Publish your map it will place a copy of your map, along with an ini file with the same name as your map in the Documents/My Games/Gear of War for Windows/Wargame/Published/CookedPC/Maps/CustomMaps

You should now be able to see you map in the Game setup menu. Let me know if that doesn't work, and I'll try to help you further.

well, could be two things:
1) I think it needs to be in Unpublished/Maps/CustomMaps pretty sure there needs to be a folder called Maps in the Unpublished folder
2) also, I'm not sure if your .war file has to be in the CustomMaps folder itself, or it can be in anothe subfolder, but you might try removing the Theater subfolder, and just have the war file in the CustomMaps directory.

Ok now it's really annoying me, it gave me a list of errors while publishing that it couldn't load "outside sources" such as weapons and characters.

Can someone make a list if exactly what to do, step by step? =/

Wow you learned pretty quickly how to create maps.I've been creating maps for years, plus I've worked with the roboblitz editor so knowing how wasn't difficult. Knowing how to use the ed doesn't mean your maps will be good, gameplay makes it good.
