no one can join my custum map?

okI can get the map to load up in the game but when I try to put it up on my lan I can't get my other computer to join. I can play the regular maps just fine but no one can see my map. I have tried cooking it, publishing it. I just cant seem to get it to work. any one know how to get this to work.

Just a thought, but did you try to put a copy on your other machine?

I tried it with the map on both computers and it still didn't work. Both computers could successfully host the map but neither could see the other.

I think both computers need the ini file that gears makes I have a test filre up if you want to help me test it russle

Was it just the ini file? Or what did you have to do?

well I had to copy the ini and the shader files and the files need to be the same place on both computers.

I got it to work so thanx againg for the help.
