Hi,

Will there be any retail windows/linux downloads made available for us server admins that just want to put servers online?

Epic is still working on it, but are hopeful to release the package soon.

The windows server package is in beta mode (read as: not ready for release to the general public) so it is getting closer.

Note: When released this will have an installer and will not just be a zip file as in the past. This is so you have to agree to the EULA.

Shouldn't be much later when publicly released. A few days ago Epic was hoping to have a beta for both out the same day.

Note: Linux will use "MojoSetup" as the installer.

Man I have had bad experiences with downloading commercial software. I got screwed on 2142 bonus pack. My hard drive died and if I wanted another copy I had to buy another one. Forget that crap. Ill stay with the DVD hard copy thats for sure.

Huh? There won't be a DVD copy of the dedicated server package.
