I can't for the life of me find the location of most of the skydomes, curiously the skydome package has but one lonely dome.

Also, I just thought of this right now so I haven't checked, but can you still build a skybox if you need to do so quickly, as you would in UT2k4?

Right click on skydone
Left click on Fully Load

then you pick the one you like!

Oook, I didn't see the package initially, and was importing a skydome package from the environments folder, where there was only one specific skydome. Thanks a lot :)

Keep in mind we only have a couple of domes, yet we use different materials for the sky dome in nearly every level. So, pick a dome, then find some sky textures and start applying them to the dome. :)

Ya, got that now - getting used to using materials like max in unrealed instead of changing the display texture. It seems like some of the skydome materials are stretched or tile on the actual domeshape; are these meant to be used on the circular meshes?

*I'd look myself but I'm typing this while in a game mechanics class >< *

Some of the sky dome meshes have two material slots. One for the outer ring, one for the top/center and they'll blend in between.

That way you don't get any seams or annoying stretching from using either one UV mapping style or the other. It just combines the positives from both styles.

If there is a seam I believe that means you are using the wrong skydome mesh+skydome material combination. Try placing a different type of skydome mesh or changing the materials.
