How do I play maps in the game?

My level works fine in the in editor player, so I hit publish(cook), it runs fine, but when I launch gears it doesnt show up... Do I have to put the finished map in a special directory, or set some flags on it? I'm just trying to host a LAN game with the new map, but it dosent appear on the list.

Yeah, I watched the video on the UDN, and he just said that after you hit publish it automatically loads it into the game... LIES! XD

yeah publish doesn't even work for me. I made a thread asking for help with that problem and it was removed. : (
