DVD Nescessary?

Is the DVD necessary to run the GoW editor? It's telling me know that I can't start the editor without the DVD in, but I'd really rather not have to have the disc in there all the time. Anyone know a way around this? Have I missed a setting or am I doing something wrong?

My guess would be that the editor being impeded in the actual program exe accessed through a command line it will require the disk because the game does.

You don't need the disc. Just start the game with -editor command line.
