View Full Version : Mutator Idea- Random Enforcer Spawn

Here's an idea i had for a mutator, could be used in all gametypes. A randomly spawned enforcer that spawns in proximity of playerstarts or maybe even pathnodes(if theyre still used in uengine3).

Dual Enforcers rock, and this would make double fisting more likely, and it would be randomized. Randomizing the location is key, that way it doesnt give any team or player an advantage by always having dual enforcers readily available.

The mutator could specify how many pickups are allowed to spawn, and how often, and these could/should be customizable in the mutator options. That way it would make it useful in any gametype. We obviously wouldnt want ten enforcers spawning every 60 seconds in DM, that may make it overkill. But in some of the larger VCTF/WAR maps, 10 spawning every 60 seconds may be appropriate.

Interesting mutator, but 60 seconds is too long. Also if nobody takes enforcer it should relocate every X seconds.

timeframe would be customizable via the mutator options, and i concur that if not picked up, the pickup should be destroyed and respawned. I think I'm going to attempt to do this mutator, I just need to familiarize myself with how to code it.

Awesome Idea!, would need to spawn with special effects not just look like a weapon drop
