de_dust! with cover it can be a good map. the weapons can be laid out in the center with nades by spawns.

i'd be interested to see what textures would work for that map.

not 100% sure how wellit would work, GoW and CS are extremely differnt from each other an require a differnt design of levels. but who knows ^^ with the right amount of tweaks, might be fun

well, if you think about the design there are multiple paths, sniping area on the straight with boxes in the middle and another sniper area lined up where the bomb is usually planted, and there are high and low ground differences throughout the map. sounds somewhat suited to gears.

well looks like a good idea, but i will prefer playing de_dust in CS instead of Gears ;)

It would be sick to put De_Dust or De_Dust2 in Gears of War. If no one is going to take this task on, I could always give it a try.
