an idea for a game type for anybody wanting to mod it,

TranZphaZe War

concept:
1. Players play within 2 dimensions one slightly out of phase with each other.

2. Flags for opposing teams are in alternate phase the flag has tranZphaZe protection of say 5 metres (so no phazing back to score on top of the flag).

3. Players use the TranZdemiZor (translocator replacement) to switch in and out of phase.

4.weapons in one phase can not effect players in the other only the Tam (transdimensional ammo moleculizer) has this ability (Eliminator replacement).

5. players in one phase appear in the map as a blurring of the background to players in the other phase

6. Sentinals can be upgraded to see transphased players and shoot them.

7. vehicules ( same as weapons can not effect other phase ) can also go trans dimensional but through portals TransDemiZor alternate fire.

I think a little bit to much stargate (Re`Tu) had a bearing on this but this could be a very fun game type, that annoying sniper could get the shock of his life.... ;)

please post other options that you may think would be good for a game type like this and whether or not you like the idea. cheers

I hadn`t realised it had been done or at least something simular before, but as Angelmapper has it would be really good to hear their thoughts on this to see if this is possible in UT3 taking in to account how i suggested changing phase, the trans weapon and vechicle portals etc :). i know it will take some utscript of get it working as a gametype.
