View Full Version : Anyone to de-grimify graphics? (Or create new ones)

I'm looking to do a mod that has a much more "picturesque" setting. I wanted to be able to recycle the UT3 graphics, but they seem to be heavily "grimified." Is anyone experienced in, or able to, cleaning up the textures? That would be great.

Of course, an artist who can create his or her own content is even better (the graphics should look something like Guild Wars or Final Fantasy XIII (the PS3 game)).

Are you just talking about making new maps (in which case I'm sure custom maps of all kinds will be made soon) or just replacing the ones in the game? Cause of the game comes to 10gigs, you'd basically be adding another 10 as most of that is for the graphics wouldn't you?

I'd only be reusing certain textures. They'd be new maps, yes. The models needn't be changed, just re-textured.

Turn down world settings all the way to 1. Seriously it looks a lot better that way.
