Hi
Just wanted to share some early shots of my upcoming CTF for UT3.
Is a totally new remake of CTF-BrutalDeluxe series for UT99 and UT2004 (http://www.unrealplayground.com/mapper.php?id=419).

If this is the same CTF-BrutalDeluxeRedux-101 (or whatever the exact name was) that was available at Unreal Playground, then I'm glad you're making a UT3 version.
I was a backer of your map and had it placed on TheGamebox.net's CTF-2 server, which I adminned (way back in the day).

How do you make a map for a game that hasnt been released yet? What 3D application are you using and will you be able to just import it into the new Unreal Editor?

He's probably using the Roboblitz editor.

He's probably using the Roboblitz editor.
No, two posts above he said he is using Maya.
(how on earth is he gonna port it in? ;x)

susely they will have a Maya => unrealed (3/4) converter that ships with the collectors edition, and possibly the regular one.
though i thought Maya was giving up game developement software for movie animation.
what-some-ever
this will be sweet with an almost total static mesh level.
i'm getting a woody just thinking about it :p
Wow that looks sweet! So much cool custom content to look forward to for UT3.

(how on earth is he gonna port it in? ;x) Like... all other maps.
From what I've understood maps will mostly be made in an external program in UT3, or at least the option's there. I expect I'll be doing the same... UEd3's BSP modelling tools weren't that bad, but a professional package is still easier to use.
The only thing I'm afraid of in this case is that the layout gotthard is making now will have to be rebuilt for scale once UT3 is out, which can be a pretty big pain if you actually have the map planned out completely already.
