Alright, time to tell us what mutators or Mods you would like to see. Me personally will be doing the UT99 relics first.. Maybe this time I'll redo the meshes, but keep the same look. Then I'll look at bots and weapon coding, maybe make some new weapons for vehicles as well...

What else would be good to see a return?

a request for the relic of vengeance...make the explosion like the redeemer but bigger(?) and make it do damage, not like the lame UT2004 explosion.
the Bloody Hell mutator!!!! lotsa gore was good with UT2004, probably one of the best mods ever made IMO :) (Maybe UT3 will be gory enuf without it, possibly wont need it)

(Sorry for the shameless pimpage, but it kind of fits and there's no forum here for UT1 mods.)

Need Unreal Gokart.
I remember a while back AM was trying to do it for ut2k4. Would b ecool to see some Unreal Gokart mod for UT3.

Beefy UT3 characters, in tiny cars.:D

Anyway, jsut a thought.

Relic are a great idea and ut3 should be a nice game to make that mutator back on track and maybe on a ladder!

IMO I would like to see TAM as a ladder mutator like in UT2k4 but this time with no adren (thx god) and with no healt penallity like TAM CAL mode.

I don't need anything else :)

Any word on whether Admin mode will be disabled again for Online servers? If so I suppose my AdminPlus mutator will have to make a new appearance.

And the usuals i want to see:
Multi-dodge
Multi-jump
Flamehead

I wish the menu's where just like UT99, where it was possible to simply add a new menu which would work in any mod, so I could create my Keybinder again.. that's something I really missed about the Menusystem of UT2004, it wasn't really a good system IMHO (not a real bad one either)..

I want your mercury missiles :( I love me some mercury missiles. I never cared for the instagib mutator but I usually still play with the standard rocket launcher replaced by MM.

My only thoughts for improvement on it... primary fire should be like alt fire on the normal rocket launcher. Click once it fires one rocket hold down the trigger and it loads up several for spiral effect.

Maybe also make a lock system, alt fire = sniper reticle still, but keep the beed on the target a certain amount of time to get a lock move to another target and repeat. Lock up to 5. When a lock is made a rocket is loaded and the barrel turns to an empty chamber. Release right mouse button to fire. Left click to cancel.

They probably will and still, the RS team (makers of said mutator) are more likely to make a TC for UT3 than a mutator based mod, though even if it is a TC, know that those guys will add insane gore to it.

I'd love to see Vendetta.

I don't think that would work out too well. Mercury missiles are too fast to effectively home in on targets. I think of them more like a high precision weapon and loading up rockets doesn't really fit that theme.


(Damn, I need to get out the final Mercury Missiles for UT2004. :()

yeah it's sort of a hurry up and wait idea. But though it sounds counter intuitive it also sounds fun (IMHO). Maybe eliminate the left click to cancel and the wait for lock and make it... line stuff up then left click to lock.

I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your mut, it is awesome as is, just sort of musing about what I might try if I could write an ounce of code (other then html).

The version I have works pretty good in UT2k4. The only 2 problems I know of are the obvious weapon space on the hud only showing the outline of the weapon (that could be intentional I suppose). And the mutator doesn't replace rocket launchers held in the weapons locker.

The UT2003 version? Didn't know it actually worked in UT2004. :)
Mercury Missiles 2 got a major visual and technical makeover, although it still uses "programmer art", i.e. no special models or anything.

Sniper Mod with crouch for rapid fire and health regen. Also No run and gun where you lose points for running. Once a sniper always a sniper :)

Unreal Editor 4.
The current version is Unreal Editor 3. The editor version is one number above the engine, unless the naming scheme is different.

The chaos team will probably make them again, hopefully as a seperate mutator/download so they are used elsewhere.

weaker vehicles and stronger foot weapons that way the vehicle is a weapon, but not one that you have to get




also a ut99 mod that feels just like ut99 would be sweet
