Petition for new lancer. No Spam please

I have been posting on this site for a few hours. Obviously no one on these forums wants the weapon slide back.

But...I feel that the lancer is upgraded too much. I think taking out weapon sliding and getting a stronger lancer isn't the way to go. It should have been one or the other.

Since one is a glitch, I feel that degrading the lancer back to before this patch was placed would be fair. That way the game won't be totally ruined.

This is also a plausible option. If it was possible to pick up a weapon when getting shot at and get away, not having weapon slide wouldnt be so bad.

It was too weak before. It would take a full clip to down someone. A machine gun that has to go through a full clip before it downs someone? Come on...

If you used a lancer like I did back then...team firing what how my team operated. But I love my shotgun and it's useless now with this new lancer.

It takes more skill to shotgun than it does to lancer IMO.

You kept your shotty for a reason. Incase of a close-range battle. I used my lancer alot in clan matches. And it will be used alot more in regular.

No one uses a lancer in Ranked...if you haven't noticed. They are for themselves.

With the patch the lancer was made way to powerful. It now can overpower an gun in the game. I think bringing it back to the level it was at is a good adjustment.

make it a little more powerful but now? a noob could kill you in a matter of seconds...shotgunning was an art thats why people used it, if the lancer was a LITTLE more powerful then ok its fine but now...the shotgun...and pistol have no use so just take them out of the game and call it gears of lancer, i sign the petition and make the game balanced again, i agree the lancer before was a little too weak and in matches u had to have at least to people lancering but still it brought team work...gears of war will now turn into a camp-fest and no one is going to want to play just like the wall sticking patch whats so hard about not touching something thats not broken?...keep gears alive and fix the lancer, weapon sliding can be done with out but done ruin the game its too fun

I just went home on my lunch break to see the upgrade for myself and, WOW the lancer is powerful.

This is a joke. Team lancering was already effective enough before (even though nobody did it), now it's going to ruin this game.

There is no reason that they needed to change the lancer. Everything else but the lancer. They already made it stronger from the last patch and made it stronger again. Too strong. 12 shots off host without an active. That's too much.

I think the lancer update was a good idea and downright necessary. First of all, this is a cover and shoot game. Not a run and gun game. That's the main reason I love this game. Lots of people were running towards me like a coke addict taking heavy lancer shots and immediately obliterated me with one silly shotgun shot. I was downing people before this update with the lancer. But this shotgun frenzy was insane. People who I claim to be unskilled just use the shotgun because it enables easy kills. They never take cover and they shoot wildly. I consider myself a tough player and good tactician especially with my favorite LANCER gun. I always use cover and make smart moves. But when half a$$ed players come in and just run and gun I start hating this game. Its really funny. Today I played this afternoon and saw an update and I thought "O maybe this would fix the glitches (which it did)". And low and behold I start downing these run and gun junkies. With this update, run and gunners will have to use more their heads to approach the enemy. And, the game is more balanced. Thank you Epic for another terrific job.

The lancer is just ridiculous now. It has converted a close quarters action packed game into let me sit on my ass while I hold the trigger down for about 3 seconds across the map. I would just like to hear the reasoning for making the lancer stronger.
