how old do you think Carmine was when he got sniped i would think late teens early twenties

Carmine really wasn't a prominent enough character to keep for more than half of the first Act, so I doubt he'll be brought back for Gears 2. However, you'll probably see more of the "Red Shirts" in the sequel, and I imagine that his character model will be carried on to GOW 2's multiplayer in the form of a Casual Soldier.
As for Age, Carmine is certainly below thirty, as his gung ho approach to stuff probably represents inexperience.
But with Carmine's head being Kim's, could he actually be Asian?

Guys Carmine is 21 and as already proven, Carmine is in fact Asian. He was intended to be a white guy but EPIC got lazy and simply cloned Kim and put on a helmut. If you need to see what he looks like check out the Carmines Face Revealed Thread. It was very old but if you see it you will see that he is Kim. Im sorry for you new Carmine fans.

They should make a show Everyone Loves Carmine, and in the grand finale they reveal Carmine is Kims twin brother who thinks Kim is the greatest. Then Kim dies and Carmine changes his name to Kim. Then the show renames itself Everyone Loves Kim.

it was his head, i have seen that vid at least ten times. i hate to watch my favorite character die though:(.
and as for age he was eighteen, and im completely serious. he is relatively short but he is stocky and built. this shows he works out but still has room to grow. and your average person stops growing at around twenty. in fact, based on the video of marcus in the chopper in act 1, the rumors of marcus in the aspho fields was probably the reason carmine joined cog the second he was of the age. this explains his "gung ho" attitude and inexperience.
oh, and as for the race thing he is definately white. this is cause of his voice and look at the veins in his neck if you have high def. anyone ever seen an asian like that?
also, what was kim thinking having them regroup outside in open territory?:D

That's Impossible. Your always have to be ready for anything, and everything. Carmine wasn't under cover like Dom, and Kim were. Marcus, You know he was coming back out from the building where the Drones where at shooting at the Squad. The Sniper was aiming for Lt. Kim but when Carmine told him to look at the his gun, He kind of leaned to the side or down forward, and was almost close on a instant death to a headshot but Carmine looks like he was shoot in the lower in the shoulder, or in the upper area of his chest in the left side there he might have had slightly puncture something (LUNG?! MAYBE) without any way of saving him or he just died instatly after he got shot, Because I was trying to find out where he got shot at because you could see his body just laying after the cutscene but that's it. :o

I saw his body on the ground after the cutscene, and he exactly got shot right in the neck, went through his neck, and back out. After the cutscene when he falls back, you see his head just barely hanging from his body hold by a couple of veins or something, I don't know how to explain it. DAMNIT!! HE GOT SHOT IN THE RIGHT IN THE HEAD, OR NECK BY A SNIPER, AND AFTER THE DAMN CUTSCENE HE'S F'N HEAD FELL OFF.

I didnt get that.... almost all the dead cog bodies look the same. With there heads like held together by some dinky little veins or tubes.

Carmine is an Italian name! he isn't Asian they just used kim's head model to fill in his helmet. Oh! and I think he is 22.

i think he was like late teens early 20's and i think he was italian by the name.
he was definitely one of those people with the really small heads.. i forget what people call them.
there was a documentary on them once.
still, come to think of it.. if he had have had a small head, he mightve been harder to hit.
he was shot in the head, right?

they shouldnt have killed him off so early, do it in 2 or 3 when you know more about the characters and it 'll have more impact...
i think carmine was caucasion,dont know why.i just assumed it.
