It makes me kinda sad to see folks trying to find and exploit glitches the moment Epic patches a game, do y'all play this game for enjoyment, or do you play it to frustrate the gamers who spend their precious free time playing this game.

I'm not a pro, i'm just a quality regular joe gamer, who plays a couple of hours after work and likes to find matches with like minded folks who just want some good competition.

I question the mentality of groups like playinghalotoday, and others like them, groups that find glitches, explain how to do them, and post videos of how to do them on youtube. Honestly, folks like that should feel bad for what they do to great games like this, they inspire legions of unscrupulous gamers to mimic these moves, much to the chagrin of your everyday gamer.

A few days ago, i posted a thread about MLG and the weapon slide. Over and over I got responses like, "if i can do it, i will, if it helps me win" There is something you don't understand, i will go out on a limb and say that 75% of the gamers that you used this glitch on would never do it to you, most of em don't even know how. A Gears of War ranked game isn't game 7 of the World Series, winning certainly won't solidify you as one of the best around. Yes, it feels good to win, and of course that is always my goal, but in the end, all I want is a fair match, against opponents who don't find it neccessary to exploit the code of the game to get the upper hand.

Epic didn't "ruin" Gears of War by removing some offending glitches, they made it better for the MAJORITY of the community, the ones who want to play you in a fair game.

exactly and the ones that are "ruining" the game are the people who wont shut up about every liitle problem, so what is there is a problem with the roadie run, figure out how to try not to run into a wall. It takes skill to be a gamer and if you are complaining about these little things, obviously you do not have the skill to play

I hated that noob slide and I was really dissapointed when I heard that MLG allowed sliding in games. I lost some respect for them. When I see someone noob slide, I try even harder to kill that person just to show them that I don't have to glitch to kill them.

I understand what your saying bro. but let me tell you this: Major League Gaming does allow the weapon slide and only the weapon slide because it makes the game more visually appealing to people watching live at a LAN or on the MLG TV show on the USA network. They never said, Oh You can do it because we said you could. They don't condone these little kids who say if MLG allows it then its fine. Those members of the MLG community are actually frowned upon. MLG is not a bad organization at all. I met my finacee through MLG. MLG is uniting gamers from all over the world. If any of you guys are in North Carolina please check out www.mlgpro.com and find out the info you need to see where the Charlotte event is taking place this coming Friday!
Halo 2 and R6 Vegas will be played. It's free so please just stop by to take a look at what Major League Gaming is really about!

TNA,

I've read your stuff before, you have said that you don't condone sliding in ranked games, that's all i need to know. You are one of the good guys.
