look i have been looking at some threads and they are the exact same things over and over again! fix this, fix that. what is your favorite weapon/character? and constant criticism of this game.

Look the bottom line is that this forum is at war, the new junior members come in here and to tell you the truth look like they Fu*ked the place up. now all the senior members are tying to make a stand but are being flooded by the same 10 year old that cant spell basic elementary words.

I know i have not been at this forum for a long time, and yes i do post the occasional funny post, but this forum is out of control and the junior members are to blame. Scroll through the mulitplayer forum and the general chat forum.... what will you see? the exact same thing over and over again "epic you ruined this game" "rodie running sucks" "Fix this epic".

Senior members, or anybody that can get in touch with a epic representative and tell them that this forum is out of control and that if they want decent feedback rather than some 5 year old kid saying what only affects his life, they need to fix up this forum.

To any body at epic that will read this, you are at a tough decision. you can either stay loyal to your loyal fan base, or you can just become another corporate junkie that does and says anything to please their audience. the ball is in your court now Epic what you choose to do is up to you but just be careful what you do with it.

And a personal word to anybody who is still reading this and decides to post crap in this forum, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Think outside of your own life for a minute and realize that nothing is perfect, as i read in another post all you do is criticize and do nothing to help!!
I hope that some of these people that stay here and criticize epic go into the gaming industry and realize its not all cake, and realize what an ass they made of them selves. im done ranting for now

great post man, I feel the exact same way, yes I have a high post count, and up until this past week I posted exclusivley in Story and Characters which I can say without a doubt is not infested with children. I have seen the same exact thing that you have. Gen. Chat, Multiplayer have been over run by kids and are making a mess, and even taking cheapshots at all the senior members, I have actually came over to try and help all the senior members out, I find it ridiculous that these children are allowed to run in here and cause chaos to a once relativley cool thread

thank you, i think that most people feel this way, but what people dont understand is that their constant posting about how annoying the patch is is in reality more annoying than the patch

Yes agreed, I have posted in those threads arguments to certain individuals. To me it seems like a smack in the face If I were working at Epic. Honestly. They make a great game, try and fix what we say is wrong with it and then we turn around and complain that what they fixed is wrong. If I were Epic I would be like you know what? fix it yourself and leave it at that. But thanfully Epic listens to us, but I hope they see what kind of fans they have. They have dedicted fans that will stay with them through anything, and then they have these fans who cry, whine, and complain until they get what they want, and then stab Epic in the back

Excellent post! Now, I am a proud supporter of Major League Gaming(MLG) and when I mean supporter I mean I have attended numerous Halo 1 and Halo 2 tourneys that MLG has put on. Do I like weapon sliding? YES. I think while in player matches if everyone agrees to it then it is fine. Do I condone weapon sliding in ranked games? No I do not.
Now regarding the subject matter of this thread. I do find it aggravating to see all these posts saying epic fix this, or epic fix this now or I will never play any of your noobzorz games again. Epic has busted their tails to give us an update and a new game mode and we have the damn gall to whine and cry?
Instead of crying about it, when you make the threads just post what you found wrong and what you think was done right. It will save everyone the frustration of reading your post.

Instead of crying about it, when you make the threads just post what you found wrong and what you think was done right. It will save everyone the frustration of reading your post.
or how about you just smile and download the update and not whine about it. everyone thinks epic is going to read their posts. and the reality is that they wont their are to many, if it was all in one organized forum it would be a lot easier for Epic to see the problem, and general consensus about the problem.

I completely agree, I am usually a lurker on these boards for news and videos and such, I am personally astounded that so many bash the game even though they play it religiously, so what if Epic made one mistake? Its only the roadie run, none of your other troll/bashing posts really matter because they're hating on Annex. So what? Go play Warzone or Execution then.

I reckon the funniest ones are where people complain about glitches like weapom sliding being fixed, its like why shouldnt they fix that it makes the game better to play

I've lurked on this board since gears was released yet never posted as anytime i logged on it was always full of people complaining about the game. I only registede today simply because im sick of the attitude of alot of posters here, in that they think that Epic somehow owe them something and that theyre doing Epic a favour by playing the game, and that every major update to the game is some cleverly disguised plan by cliffy b to somehow destroy gears of war and ruin the online play for everybody.
Since its release roughly 5 months ago gears has had:

2 free maps
free gamemode
VGA bug fix
Various gameplay fixes

Yet this will never be enough for the masses of screaming rabid keyboard warriors out there who demand the sun moon and stars from Epic and thier dev team. If you want a real lesson in frustration go play battlefield 2 and see what a stellar job EA do of supporting thier games. [/SARCASM]
Epic are doing a bang up job of supporting this game and keeping it fresh and i for one commend them, however it seems that for some people, its never enough, but as they say the empty can rattles the most, and its mostly a very vocal minority of complete spastics who do the loudest complaining on these forums. I think in general most 'normal' gamers such as myself are quite happy with he game, tho i would liek to see the shotguns power toned down a shade.
