duh... epic never confirmed they would make another gears...all they said is with the first Gears success it'd be dumb for them not to create a sequal...

but at the moment they are still working on UT3 and more Gears content...so why officially announce gears 2 when they arent even working on it? The article doesnt mean there will never be a Gears 2, it just means Epic atm isnt working on it and hasnt announced part 2 yet.

Of course, a sequel is inevitable. They've made many, many millions on this game, and the end of GoW is an obvious set-up for a sequel. Most of those who bought GoW thoroughly love the game and will certainly buy GoW 2, whenever it comes out.
