Why are the leaderboards crippled?

Has whoever is working on the online leaderboards just stopped working on it? why is it limited to weekly timeframe?

We want ALL-Time timeframe options!! also, there seems to be a few glitches in it. I can't view "Me and My Friends" -- returns "No Data" everytime!

My friend and I were checking out the leaderboards, the guy in first place had a total of like 500 kills, if even that... we checked 'em on the Xbox though not on the web

masterhaides - your scrolling through the leaderboards too fast. Open the leaderboard menu then wait for them to load, then switch to monthly, wait for the load, then switch to all-time, same with trying to get top rankings and my friends

Vanquish - tried what you suggested on the web leaderboard but from my end it never loads past weekly. Are you viewing the online leaderboard or is there another place to look from the 360?

It never loads for me either! Only "weekly" is available, and it has never been able to retrieve "Me and My Friends" data!

At this very moment, it doesn't even say i have a gamertag associated with my login! I know which login i use for xbox live!

Haides - you're not alone! At this moment the leaderboard is recognizing my linked gamertag. However, about four hours ago it wouldn't - kept returning a message about no linked gamertag. Sounds like something quirky on the server side. I have NEVER seen stats beyond weekly. Fact is, I've tried almost everything to get cumulative data to no avail. That said, some people appear to have no trouble at all. Makes no sense.

Use the leaderboards on Gears on your 360, not the internet one. Works fine.

Usumaki Naruto - Thanks for the advice. Can you indulge us in where you have found this Gears leaderboard within the 360? I have looked for it (granted, I like to play more than look for a leaderboard) but I haven't found the same information within the 360 environment that Epic puts online otherwise I wouldn't even bother with the online leaderboard.

I am amazed at the lack of attention people devote to everything.

There is an icon in the Gears menu that says (write this down) "Leaderboards".

Select it.

Now, maybe you can write this down for me - the location within GoW of the detailed stats i.e., kills, weapons,etc. Haven't found those stats anywhere except online and, frankly, that method hasn't been very reliable.

If you look back at all of your posts, and the OP's post, "detailed stats" are not what you guys were looking for. ...OR that is not what you asked to help find.

You just wanted the leaderboard.

Now why would I want to make you look like a moron... Seriously, have you had any difficulty with the online leaderboard delivering detailed stats? The same content should be available on the 360 leaderboard as is on the online leaderboard. We called it a leaderboard because that's what Epic calls it. Not trying to mislead.

I don't quite understand your problem, hedhunter.

I think that you're saying you can only see the points on the 360 leaderboard.

press 'a' for details once your tag is highlighted.

You can see details from there.

still doesn't answer the thread question, have they stopped developing the leaderboards on the website? it would be so nice to just send someone a link and say, "hey, check this out" and then let them idle on there for awhile!
