I know that many people have voiced thoughts like this, but I would like to put my own twist on them.

Sometimes, a videogame contains such an interesting feature, that you play it over and over again just to see what makes it tick. Gears has a few such features, that for whatever reason, didnt make it into multiplayer, or were under developed.

Kryll
The Kryll can be both annoying and fascinating. Of course, getting killed by them is extremely frustrating, and they can be unforgiving, but at the same time, it can be humorous to watch an overzealous enemy rush you, only to get consumed by the little freaks. So, what I propose, is that the Kryll be placed in a multiplayer map with a few tweaks to their gameplay effects. They could work in a number of maps.

*One could be a court yard, much like the spot light part, where there are a few spot lights shining down on the street you can rush to. Along the side walks, lamp posts are lit, allowing safe travel along the clear and open edges of the maps. However, the cover is in the more dangerous and spotlit areas. Each team starts in a hallway indoors.

*Another map the Kryll could work on is a cavern. With the golden glow of imulsion, the open areas along the imulsion pools keep the Kryll away, but venturing towards the more powerful weapons is asking the kryll to rain hell on you if you aren careful.

The Kryll would have to be slowed in their descent, and you would have to have a chance to escape them in order for it to work, but it would definitely increase the strategy of the games in multiplayer.

Berskers
Now this just occured to me a few hours ago when reading the ridiculous thread about the Berserker on Mansion. If Epic were to include a Berserker, it would have to be very tuned and unbiased in its rampage.

*An open level, with the HoD, and a wide open vista. A colliseum would be perfect, I think. Two reasons I choose a Collisum: Much of the game's architecture is Greco-Roman, and Thrasball needs a stadium. Cole would be right at home.

*City streets would also do perfect, as the Berserker cant run through cars (I hope).

The Berserker would have to be toned down a bit, and it could only down people. It would force people to keep moving, and Im not sure it would do too well in Ranked Matches. However, as a Gametype Option, it would be very interesting. Alternatively, it could also be made into a 'juggernaut' type deal.

Jack Bot
With the jack bot, opening doors and transporting data becomes much easier. With a kind of 'territories' gameplay. Obviously the Locust would need their own version of the bot, or a hi-jacked jack, but it would provide some interesting twists.

I think the Kryll and Berserker ideas could be interesting and fun if they were pulled off correctly. It would definitely add some variety to a game that frequently devolves into a shotgun fiesta. It would be cool to see whether teams would work together to take out the berserker and then turn on each other, or would just try to avoid it, or lead it to their foes.

I would like it if there was one team of four fighting one or two berserkers. I'm not too sure about the berserker just downing you, unless it would kill you after a small period of time, like you would have a small window of time to distract it or it would smash your teammate. Other than that they are three great ideas.

Or you could put the berserker on a fixed track. If you down a player on the berserker's path, the unfortunate player will be trampled. It would kind of be like the train tracks on Tyro station.
