OK so what the heck is up with these 10 year olds playing and kicking our asses huh? I don't understand how they get so good! I go on live just to hang out and play a few rounds and I get these kids that tell their mom's that they can't go to bed right now b/c they are in the middle of a round and have to smoke us. How did they even get the game? I'm so confused. I wish I could play like they do!:eek:

I don't mind playing with younger players as long as they don't start acting their age or immature... I haven't played against one yet that has kicked my butt but I am always game for some good competition no matter my opponents age.

And I have to agree with Manks about the bar talk coming out of some of these rug rats...

I played with a kid the other day for a couple of hours and every other word was an f-bomb this and an f-bomb that and I could only wonder the same thing. Where are the parents??

Kicking 'your' ass maybe. I haven't had any problems with them...other than they shouldn't be playing this game because its way too graphic. And they seem to act there.....well, age. Which means...'not good.'

Most are annoying really, not to mention you can't rely on them.

You can usually rely on them to call "dibs" on the power weapon of the map every round ("I'm a sniper! Lemme have snipe, I'll rape people!"), and then get embarassingly slaughtered and lose it 15 seconds into the first fight. Then they call you a noob for not covering them. Good times :)

I've seen a few underage players. They're usually clumped together with their friends,have (1) split screen tags around and they talk a hell of a lot. In the lobby and in-game.
On their own,they whine a bit too.
I don't know about their general skill levels,but I've yet to see any of them impress me. The only person thus far to impress me has been DarkStormRider.

What's worse than them though,is the not underage players that talk ****,but young adults/adults that talk ****.
At least at a young age it's acceptable; easily excitable,annoying but somewhat the norm. Not so when you're 21 and getting extremely pissed over a game.
I mean,I may get a little mad if I die to chainsaws a lot,but I'll make a light comment and play on. (and sometimes they take it seriously. I never usually am,and if I am,I don't persist with the aggression.)

We had the funniest moment with a kid on our team. Dunno if it was a boy or girl they all sound the same. But it was the saem thing she/he wanted the snipe and even asked politely, please could you let me have the sniper as I dont miss. First to 10, killed every single round! Then preceded to shout at everyone else because they were getting killed or using the wrong guns!

I hate kids playing this game, I have played against a few that ruled but the majority of them are just little Cartmans who need a good slap! Obviously they can do no wrong by their parents standards, WAKE UP MUM AND DAD! I do my best to block them all as soon as I finish a game!

LMAO but am 16 responsible. my parents no i swear. i just dont go crazy with it like these kids do. I once turned off my mic while in the middle of a game. i Frag tagged this one kid, then left to eat pizza. the kid was pissed and started yelling racial slurs and it was coming from my tv. my mother didnt care she just said turn it off. nobody including their own parents wants to "its" voice. lol. we had a laugh.
Be nice with the weapons share, unless one teammate really pwns with it. then give it to him every other round. let everyone use the sniper or whatever weapon. Where is the Love?

There aren't any age requirement to post on these forums are there? If not; thats how they get on here. But to get on Xbox Live; they either need for their father to have the game and they just play it, or they need to con their parents into buying a game that they clearly shouldn't have.

I hate underage players, no offense to anyone underage, because we were all under aged at one point, but I simply can't stand youngin's playing Gears of War and showing up in a match I'm in. Besides the fact that they shouldn't be playing Gears of War in the first place, [most of them] acting immature, and [90% of them] lacking skill, they're simply annoying.

Warning to any underage players that see me in their game, I Review and Avoid all underage players and choose the 'Disruptive Voice' option. Call me mean, or 'meanie face' or whatever childish names you immature youngsters might have (notice I said 'immature' meaning not all), but I simply don't like younger kids playing Gears of War with me.

Why does it matter if under-aged players play? So long as they can hold their own, it's all good. You can turn the gore and language off, so you have no argument there. I've seen more of-age gamers acting immature than under-aged. What's the problem?

At first I thought unlike America no kids would play it round here but then I started playing at daytime and realized how wrong I had been.

Well, I'm 15, and damn mature for my age (usually) so Im not out there screaming and swearing everytime I die, but I do know why we're so much better than many older players.

We have no lives. Especially the smarter ones of us, who are practically antisocial, and are so academically progressed we find all of our classes so "easy" that we come home and do nothing all evening except playing Gears of War.

That's how we got so good. But that doesnt mean we can get a girlfriend. :(

I just tell the younger kids to "shut up" - seriously. And then tell them they'll be growing hair in funny places in a few years and it's entirely normal while my friends and I laugh hysterically.

In fact, I always increase my volume and my vocabulary of curse words when kids are around hoping one of them is offended and possibly starts the mimic my words in their own homes upping the odds of them getting a spanking
