I just have a question, I never understood it before, I was playing with people alot better than me and obviously people quite a bit worse than me in ranked matches.

THEN i found out you need to use Quickmatch. So I tried that. Well, I played with a variety of skilled players, one guy was ranked around 500...... umm I'm about 14,000. Some of these guys were really good and talking about how many achievements they've gotten already... and this is my like 2nd Quick Match Ranked Match....

What Gives??

Plus this is post patch and everytime a match would end, and you'd go back to find a quickmatch... surprise surprise, the same players! on the same team!

i thought quick match just threw you into a room that need players, not nessecarily depending upon points.

I know nothing about Trueskill, but I no longer do Quickmatch. I search a for a game between 3-8 rounds. Usually player teams find each other by making longer games (19 rounds or something) or odd numbered games. I'll try to pick a normal match number like 5 or 6 and hope for the best.

Even doing this, last night I got wasted 5-0 by a team of friends who at the end said to each other "want to do the same map again?". I guess there's nothing you can do about these wusses teaming up together and getting there thrills off a 5-0 non-competitive game. Seems fun for them.

Even WITH a party system, I have a hunch these losers would go to random ranked and team up to avoid any competition. Either that or they would play one team match, get crushed, and go back to randoms.
