DLC maps

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has screenshots of the downloadable content maps. I don't have live and thus are unable to get them, and want to know what I'm missing out on. I've spend ages googling but could not find any.

The dlc is 3 "new" maps which are Sever, Evil Hands, and a version of Ascension designed for Overdose. These maps are actually already on the disk(and can be unlocked by other means, wink wink). The dlc also unlocks more characters like Judas, Necris Selket, Merc Anubis, Garek, and a few more.

The patch for the game makes it so the Overdose maps are playable in Deathmatch. Unfortunately, you'll need xbox live for the patch. If I come across the pics, I'll post them, but I can't find any either.

Pigster forgot to mention Monoxide, which happens to be a large futuristic industrial Capture the Flag Map.

Yep, Sever is definitely similar to both of these which you've mentioned and Monoxide is a killer Map as well. Evil Hands is the smallest map in UC2 and you push down on those yellow levers by the building to activate the giant hands. If an unlucky foe happens to be under the target area... he's toast.:D

Anyhow, I'm glad I could be of assistance. Both these maps and extra characters sure add a lot to the experience.

Yep, ever since I learned how to use my capture card for capturing stills, I've been hooked. In due time, I plan to create and dedicate an entire section of UC2 screens for my website. I'll take different angles and show where all the ins and outs are located within a map for fans to check out.

So far I've yet to find another Unreal fansite that has these goods to share with gamers. The closest place would be the Brady Game Guide - but that's rather inaccessible to most people and the internet is always a quick place to find vital information.:)

Not to annoy you snoogan, but if you feel like it can you take screens of the alt charcters' bios(if they have any).

Sure thing man, I'll find some time here shortly and get those up for ya.

Anyhow, these boards have died down drastically over time, and there's only a handful of individuals that still come by to discuss UC2. Ever since we made the transfer from the old UC2 forums, its been pretty dead - although, it was this way even before the move.

We used to have a cool color scheme and tons of UC2 gamerpics to boot. They haven't shown much UC2 love on these new boards, but oh well.:(

lydos, check your PM's bro. I just sent you a link to download screens of these character bios. There's 18 of them in all, so I didn't wanna' clog up bandwith on these forums and have the devs get pissed.

Anyhow, let me know if you have any trouble downloading or opening up the file - otherwise, I'll just post them anyway.

Thanks alot for that. Now I have everything I can't get. Its a pity more people aren't into this game - thanks m$oft. I just read that it sold about 150000 copies compared to Halo 2's 15 million. It didn't even have an ad campaign over here in NZ.

No problem. Yep, even EGM magazine said this game was criminally over-looked. Halo 2 is a sham compared to this terrific title. Wow, New Zealand?! Don't they ban everything there? Or is that Austrailia?
