Execution gets my vote!

execution! To me, it's basicly the same thing as warszone, except that it has to be stupid and wont let you shoot a downed opponent, instead you have to curb stomp them or chainsaw them.

Assassination...i dont like worrying about protecting one guy. I only play Execution because it takes more time and its more of a teambased game because you can actually revive your teammates.

yeah assassination should go, in theory the teamplay of protecting 1 person should work but in reality with the way its set up all a person has to do is pick up nades and make a suicide run. where is the teamplay in that?

Execution makes control of an area more important... You can't simply down a guy from far away while his teammates are closer to him than you... You need to control the area where the enemy is, so that you can finish them off when they die.

This is what Execution brings to the game. It's quite different from a tactical perspective.

Assassination should get the axe.

Warzone is classic team deathmatch, you cant get rid of it.

As for execution i absolutely love it. Its a little more difficult to get a kill. And if you get downed from far away you still have a chance of getting back up.
Yes, it is very similar to warzone but the subtle differences completely change the strategy. I used to play only warzone, but now execution has become my favorite game type by far.

Assassination, its just Warzone with the smallest twist.

Assassination.
The matches I have played it just aren't near as competitive or fun as Execution or Warzone. It's technically a 3 on 3 and whoever has the advantage after that is like good to go.
I love execution because you feel teamwork when you revive someone. That you have to either kill the guy by shooting him into pieces or get them when they're down.
Warzone is typical Team Deathmatch without the re-spawn.

Assassination.

Warzone is definitely deathmatch and we can't loose that.

Execution makes you pay for your mistakes, but gives your teams (or yourself) a chance to redeem yourself if they can't get up close and kill you. Be it melee, curbstomp, chainsaw, or just up close gun down.. the other team actually has to be in control to get the kills. Also, steal killing, even unintentional is more difficult.

Not to sound picky, but Warzone is actually Team Elimination (or Team Last Man Standing, if there's such a term), not Team Deathmatch.

Personally, I find Assassination to be a flawed game mode that missed out on a lot of potential. It would be far more interesting if the leader was super resiliant while he still has "henchmen" alive and kicking, meaning you have to kill his weaker team mates before taking him on. There's already a game mechanic for it implemented in the game, it is that sci-fi high pitched whizzing noise you hear as you get shot while downed in Execution. You can also hear it in the story campaign on insane if you take too much damage in a short timespan from distant bullet fire. You basically hear this noise when you're hit but the game wants to give you a second chance to get out of harms way artificially.

You think this is unrealistic? Well whoopdeedoo or something, there's nothing realistic about the game anyhow. Realism is an ugly word in game design anyhow.

Personally I hope they never break the game by putting in game modes with constant respawning. People should value their life all the time instead, otherwise it becomes (more than it is today) a suicide head to head clash rather than the tactical team based game it is.

Theres no need for execution except for the part of picking your self up, its almost the same thing as warzone.

I vote for assassination...

PS, you are wrong about the above. In Execution, you can go for the final kill with a bullet to the head. You don't have to curb stomp them... You just have to finish them off and you have several moves to do it...

I haven't played assasination yet, but if you look at the leaderboards on ranked matches you can tell which game mode is played more than the other and assasination has the lowest numbers.

I love assassination. It requires a strong team strategy. That's why I only play ranked assassination as player match teammates are usually stupid. And the mic is important too. But I think it may be a little too much thinking for the masses(judging by the poll). It definately changes the whole game since only the leader can get weapons. A leader that manages to get the sniper or frags really earns them.

I wouldn't miss execution though. I don't like that people can be careless and get killed and just get back up. I know, I know, it requires a better strategy blah blah blah........I've heard that over and over and I just don't see it.

if you can't finish them off, then you need to understand that it takes more than just firing your gun in their direction. If they go down, we realize we have a certain time to reach them and finish the job. Thus, causing more communication and team work. I'm sorry, but you can't ignore that.

Assassination takes less because you can focus on the obvious leader, kill him, game over. Our shortest matches happen in Assassination.

Nah, it's definitely more of a team-based game. I much prefer it to Warzone.

I played Assassination twice, was the leader both times, and hated it. I spent the match running around and picking up/dropping weapons for my teammates so they could get all the kills. Sucked a lot.

No, I don't see it. I may play ranked to better understand this, but it's so easy for people to boost in execution, I have been avoiding ranked.

And I think assassination is more for clans and people that communicate very well, since it's really easy to lose a match with one slip-up.

People want to talk about teamwork being needed in execution? I say the real teamwork is in Assassination. But I guess Execution is the happy medium.
