Vctf

I was wondering is VCTF a mod, or just CTF maps with vehicles that doesn't require a mod to be downloaded?

I'd have thought this would snap up an answer pretty quick... shame on this forum!

Anyway, as I understand it, Epic made vCTF as a gametype for UT04 (separate from CTF), but didn't make any maps for it. It isn't a mod/3rd party gametype. Just get some maps and it should appear in the menus without need for anything else.

By the way, if your making maps, don't put vehicles in a map and call it CTF-name, call it VCTF-name. CTF itself has no support for vehicles, only VCTF does.

You have to download one vCTF map at least to have the gametype enabled. Put it into your maps folder. Then you can go online and play.
