i have been wondering about the single player and how you play through it. We know guys like Baird are on your team, but what if they die? do they somehow bounce back after the level? or do they get replaced by masked soldiers...

I'm guessing they'll just stay in the "down but not out" mode until you rescue them, and if you die trying, then it's back to the checkpoint.

Sometimes your own teammates heal the ones that are downed, sometimes even getting shot down, then you have to rescue 2. That instance only happened to me once. Otherwise, lie there bleeding away until someone revives them or you die... I don't think replacements come in looking like Carmine.

but what if one of them gets finished by a fatality? or even if they just got knocked down, what if you completed that level? maybe they wont let u win till u have the whole squad with u

good question...um i dont have the game, so my theory is...AI teammates never get gibbed!

Actually, when they die, they just comeback to life...Except you don't get the points for the revive...

I find my teamates just running right into the line of fire, getting killed, and then guess who gets to run around the whole map and revive them...Me.

Now if only that command would work worth a ****. I've had situation where they repeatedly refuse with a staunch "Negative!" whenever they're under fire. Granted, that's a pretty good reason to keep your head down, but any attempts to provide them with cover fire are also useless. Which means if they are in deep ****, they won't get out if you tell them.

They never DIE. They will go down, but you dont have to heal them. When you kill all the locust in the area they automatically come back.
