Has anyone noticed that the xbox.com site has a release date for Gears marked as the 7th? and on the very same page there is a mp3 download that advertises

Which then talks about the City Walk event which is hosted by Gamestop and EB-Games to play on Tuesday night and meet Cliff and so on. The point im trying to make is that is there special event keeping us from getting Gears on the 7th when we should?

I doubt it as well. I'm sure that they got handed a ton of copies right off the top for the event, and that it has little to do with the national release.

the game ships on the 7th. always has. as soon as your gamestop gets it im sure youll get it. Don't waste your time on this conspiracy bull.

Yeah EB Games and Gamestop says it ships on the 7th but Microsoft says the realese date is the 7th!!
