Just wanted to know if any body knows what the most highlighted piece of technology that the UT2007 has made use or made and integrated into their new UT?
I know about the unreal engine 3 but what else

The darkwalker looks pretty nice. And there is technology, too. 0o

I know about the unreal engine 3 but what elseHigh Dynamic Ranged lighting, 64-bit floatingpoint precision... unlike HalfLife and other applications... used *accurately*, not *excessively* (thank god).

Not sure if SpeedTreeRT (http://www.speedtree.com) will be featured in UT2007 or not. I sure hope so because it looks schweet!
Once we saw the SpeedTreeRT technology, we rushed to help IDV integrate it with our Unreal Engine. IDV’s developers have created a remarkable forest rendering solution, and its integration with the Unreal engine is a win for Epic and our licensees. We encourage everyone using Unreal to take a look, create and add a few trees to a level and see for themselves what it can do.

Ah, yes, let's capture the 14-year-old boy demographic. Good thinking! Thank god you're not a game developer.
I think the new lighting engine wil have the most gameplay impact, really. The per-pixel rendering will really be nice, too.
Personally, I'm waiting on more information about the sound capabilities of the new engine. 2k4 was okay, but the positional audio took a hit after UT99, which nailed it perfectly.

it's perfectly normal in a heavy fighting situation, that your dress/armor could get 'out of shape'... well, just make it more dirty

Every bit of engine technology in UT2007 would be part of the Unreal Engine 3, so if you know what the Unreal Engine 3 does, you know what technology is in UT2007.

Unreal technology is the breast there is in the boobness today! I think the physics based anims sounds pretty techy to me along with perhaps virtual displacement mapping.
I like this picture: http://www.unrealtechnology.com/screens/SoftShadows.jpg

And how would you know that i'm not a game developer?
Lighten up...take a nap or something. I suggested breast physics...not nudity.
