I heard that there might be player controlled vehicles in GOW. Does any one have any screen shots? What do you guys think about vehicle combat in GOW?

Gearheads: I know you don't want to divulge too much right now, but will there be vehicles on both sides of the war as well?

Cliff: I can confirm that we have a very unique and interesting twist on the driver/gunner formula in the game. That's all I'm saying at the moment!

there are no confirmed playable vehicles yet, and it is believed if there are vehicle sections, they will be "on rails". the only screens u might see are of the king Raven (helicopter) in the E3 demo after the spider thing comes out of the ground. SO THERE!:p

there probably wont vehicles online at least, cus the team with vehicle would ahve a huge advantage, or tehy could give both teams rockets and no-none uses them

There are advantages and disadvantages to a vehicle.
one advantage is easy kills, BUT! a disadvantage is that the enemy team will know exactly where you are, as a vehicle is not the size of a human, its bigger, and more obvious in a scene. Once the enemy see's the vehicle, there could be numerous ways to take it down, tactically or head on.

Armadillo
*Armadillo is at the begining of the Rainy Night Demo video, but im not sure if theres something before that where you get to play the Armadillo a bit more*
As for that Vehicles on the rails.
Theres the mine cart level.
That level looks so fun.

vehicles are good in all but on a 4v4 tactical shooter like gow... it doesnt seem to fit. now if it was more of a run and gun it would work - or a 10v10 tactical shooter(more people = easier to ambush the vehicle which a 4v4 would be hard)

I'd be willing to bet there are vehicles.They already have the basica coding there for vehicles in UE3 for use in UT2007, so why not.

just cus they can doesn't mean they do, the type of game it is doesn't really seem to support vehicles, one team thats better witha vehicle could end a match in a few seconds

I don't think you could have vehicles in this game. Arn't all the levels supposed to relatively small and full of debri, shrapnel and just a bunch of cover objects? Driving a vehicle would be pretty hard to do.

Yes! There Will Be Vehicles In Gow Single Player, Not Multiplayer, There Are A Couple Vehicles In The Sp, Like The Armadillo, Raven Helicopter..., We Dont Know Much About The Others And We Dont Know Which Ones Are Driveable, All We Know Is That Some Of Them Will Be Playable! :)
