I've got the pdf version since E3 2005. It look pretty sweet but I'm getting the CE anyway!:D

Hey guys, This is my first time posting here. (Although I've been watching posts for a while and have been up with my Gears info since E3 2005. AAAnnnyway. Don't know if this is news but I just got my new Game Informer with Devil May Cry 4 on the cover and there's a small article about collectors editions. It shows a pic of the CE of Gears but its a new angle and it looks like the game tin is about an inch thick. I heard that they hade to make some modifications with the case for the book to fit but man thats like 3 times the thickness of most Collectors Editions I've seen. I'll post the image as soon as my wife gets home from work. I left the magazine in her car. PEACE!

As promised here is the article I was talking about. Check out the width on this thing. If this is indeed the final box its definetely been modified for the art book. ie: bigger and cooler!

Yeah but don't forget the game is also contained inside of its own metal case inside of that monster of a laminated case.

but never the less thanks for posting the pic for everyone who hasn't seen it yet and thats a pretty good angle showing the width of the huge case almost as big as the PREY special edition case? Yeah right!!!LOL

I really don't know how big other CE are. Last one I bought was Perfect Dark Zero and it pretty much made me feel like a fool for shelling out the extra dough for it. Are there any good Collectors Editions out there that have done anything close as cool as the Gears one will be?
