Well guys, I've finally finished up my third montage - it's been about four months since my last creation. With hours and hours of footage to sort through, I managed to take the best of the best and voila...

Thanks man. I picked-up an ADS Tech Instant DVD+DV Capture Card and it came with Ulead Video Studio 8 Software (plus extras) for $150 bucks. I did mad research online before making my purchase since the Pinnacle Products seem to have more problems with software crashing, etc.

This baby's been worth every penny so far. You can buy capture cards ranging from $30-1,000's I suppose. I chose to go with something not too pricey, but not a piece of garbage either. It's been fun stuff. Sooner or later I plan to make a montage with some old-school games from back-in-the-day.

ah, brings back some nice memories. I still can't play the game anymore because my Xbox STILL refuses to play any games.(*I recently got a 360. Now if only MS didn't completely screw up the BC issue, I could come back.)

Anyway, great vid...of course I loved the splooge-kills at the beginning. Towards my last few months of playing, I was all about that biorifle....that was my little green buddy....and my "poison mist jutsu!" (*cue Naruto villain music*) ohhhh good times. I will have to get a new regular Xbox one day JUST for this game.(*and Phantom Dust...and Destroy All Humans 2, apparently. Stupid MS screwing up the backwards compatibility...it makes me want to smash someone in the face with a tire iron.)

Thanks Necris Flood, glad you enjoyed it. Yep, the Bio is definitely my favorite energy weapon as well - however, lately I've had a penchant for the shock rifle more. Glad to hear you finally picked up a 360 and I sure hope you can get another original Xbox soon.

I am not going to say it is terribly bad. See I personally give props to melee'ers that can finish off someone in 3 hits or less. I don't like it when people just hold the button down, and wish it would connect. It takes real skill to get in, kill and get out. I usually add vampire cloud to a charge, and a quick swing of staff, and that usually kills mediums and lights. For heavys I charge jump back charge + vampire cloud jump back wait for run in, and hard swing. But if the charge misses, or I didn't charge it up long enough, then I will either run or change to a weapon. Oh and I am starting to like the bio. One hit kills is great!!!!

heh, people are easily tempted to call the bio cheap though if you keep using it with absolutely no shame....haha..like me. I've found people get QUITE annoyed at those one-shot kills....or the constant poison clouds. I actually used the clouds more, as it was guaranteed damage...or simply cutting off certain areas by making them hazardous...OR a way to force them into using up adrenaline to heal.(thus, removing other adren-based options from their gameplan for the moment....see, the depths of strategy in this game are amazing, imo...and what I just mentioned is only scratching the surface of how a typical and halfway decent UC2 player is thinking in the heat of battle.)

Great comments. Yep, one shot kills with the Bio will definitely aggravate some gamers beyond measure (especially with the large hit-box), but the primary fire is also pretty worthless in comparison. Unless you've got a charged-up shot waiting to goo somebody, that weapon's otherwise worthless.

The Bio-Mist however is a spectacular option when looking to wear down your opponent a bit before finishing them off with something else. Once your foes get hit with the mist, you immediately have an advantage over their vulnerability because they're suffering to find some cover - which ultimately leaves them open as sitting ducks for even more potential abuse.

Hence the reason it's great using a Skarrj because of the immunity to poison. Every now and again it's ultra fun using Garek, the Bio, while shamelessly abusing his Poison Cloud. Add the effects of U-Damage into the equation and you have some serious death-dealin' carnage.

I never saw anyone use heal like an RPG "heal" like I did to cure poison: either iteration.
Im sure others realized it removed status effects.

...ah, and I also preferred the clouds to the fully charged blob because of rejection. You can't "reject" a cloud. heh, and U-damage bio-cloud kills...ohhhh those were sweet. It's something so satisfying to me about that.

I think the smaller "primary blobs" were ok though. It's something else to help control area....but yeah, I would rather use cloud or fully charged shots. Then there's the combos...a cloud with Vampire activated can work as my healing while I'm in a completely different area. The layers and elements of strategy in this game are nothing short of genius.

Heh, I could go on all day....all this strategic potential...and we're just talking about one weapon here. Just one weapon. This is one of the things that makes Unreal so great. Good times...people would get so pissed off to be engaged in close quarters combat...then suddenly they're all taking damage from my cloud that seemingly came out of nowhere. Then there's those great moments when someone's doing the freeze-everyone-and-CDG-likeit'sgoingoutofstyle "strategy", and I get double kills off the frozen guy and the one(an Anubis/Raiden player, usually..why is it always THOSE people who try freezing all day?) who was trying to get a CDG.

I couldn't have said it better myself. There's just too many little details within this game that make it so great, and the beauty is that you could never completely master the experience. Everytime I play this game I see or learn something new and different. Good times indeed.;)

Wraith is the ultimate weapon in UC2. They always say that the best offense is a good defense.

Yup I can tell you that, cause I love Judas so much (not gay). But that may be because I don't know how to play anyone else. So, I decided to play the whole game over on godlike, since most people don't play in the morning, and I am getting sick of playing in my own server 75% of the time. But then again, I hate getting booted. I would even try loosing badly on purpose after getting booted. But still I get booted again. I just like to play online with others. I have only been playing masterful in the tourneys. Maybe then I can appreciate, and have someone else I can enjoy, and hold my own with, then just Judas. But I just can't strip myself away from Vampire Cloud. It is so dear to me.

Yep, I find myself playing single player quite often myself because real late at night and early mornings are when I'm actually able to play - and most people are on during the afternoon and early evening. I'm usually sleeping or getting my day started around then.


Maybe then I can appreciate, and have someone else I can enjoy, and hold my own with, then just Judas. But I just can't strip myself away from Vampire Cloud. It is so dear to me.
I make a cognizant effort to play with everybody whenever possible, however, Judas is also one of (or possibly) my favorites. Wraith and Vamp Cloud are just killer.

i agree wraith was a good adrenaline. but i could't get the feelin after i stopped playing with lauren of the necris kind. my top three on both accounts were Heal,Nimble, Speed in that order.
