Xbox 360 Support Please

Seriosuly, I'm getting a bit miffed waiting for UC2 to get backwards compatibility for the 360.

I know you guys are busy with Gears and UT2007 but please, sort this out! UC2 is easily the best game in the Unreal series and it doesn't deserve being forced to become the bastard child of the group.

I gave up hope a long time ago...we should just accept the fact that you will always need a regular Xbox to play it....at least until someone out there gets a nice Xbox emulator working for one of the future consoles.

*hmm...actually I was going to mention the horrible sales...but then I remember stuff like Grabbed by the Ghoulies is on the BC list. (I may get that game just for laughs one day...I saw footage of it on G4 recently...it looks HILARIOUSLY bad....like if we had a "Mystery Science Theatre 3000" equivalent for games...Grabbed by the Ghoulies would definitely be featured on an episode.)

It's doubtful that UC2 will ever becom BC on the 360, since Microsoft basically stated their stance on BC in general. It's no surprise at all. I knew full-well at Launch that Microsoft wasn't fully committed to this issue. Personally, I'd love to see UC2 on 360 in glorious 1080i resolution. It would make for an entirely new experience with the controller as well. Anyhow, I won't hold my breath any longer.

I'll see if I can get permission to post the screen shots I took back when we had 1080 support enabled on the Xbox. It was insanely beautiful. The GPU was completely bogged down at that resolution for what UC2 was doing, plus the memory usage for a 1080 buffer was prohibitive. Still it was pretty.

They just made an update a few days ago. No UC2 but at least it proves they're still coming out with new BC games a few times a year! Good enough i say if they keep it up!!!!

Joe plz for all of us, you don't needa take vacation time off. Just use your connections in the industry (which by FAR outweigh ours :) ) to get a word or two to Microsoft (the closer you can get to the backwards compatibility team the better!) to get UC2 in the next update!!

Me asking that is the best *I* can do that's for sure :(

When Joe says he's volunteered that means he's talked to folks from MS about it. He's told them flat out he'd do it. They haven't let him yet. I think they're afraid of letting him into their code. :p

i really cant stand microsoft. i dunno why i have got the 360, there's only been 1 worth while game. ive gave up hope on all them highly anticipated games cus they always a flop. pro evolution 6 will be the beast. and theres a spot there for gears of war aswell.

Tug, just remember that UC2 (the best original Xbox game) didn't come out for three and a half years after the console's release. Therefore, it's pretty safe to say that the 360 is still in its infancy, and simply needs time to mature. Once developers start realizing what this console is capable of, the games will undoubtedly improve as well.

I don't know what M.E. is, but I think anyone can play these wii games. I don't think it will be that much of a problem in movement of the controller. I believe it is the next step to real virtual reality games. And IMHO nintendo will be the first to have a full integrated, FUN, gaming platform were every body motion count. But this is a uc 2 forums, so I will stop there. Besides it just means better interaction besides thumbs and index fingers.

Just throwing this out there .... You don't need to be swinging with all your might or diving around your room to play the games effectively. The sensor focuses more on technique like if you are slicing the ball or topspinnin

i am : 40% affected Moderate to severe symptoms following any activity. Care must be taken not to over-do one's life style at this stage. I'm not exactly sure what kind of ailments and issues you might be dealing with, but I wish you all the best in your daily life struggles. Believe me, I can definitely understand health concerns as good as anybody since I've had countless problems since birth myself.

I couldn't even begin to count how many surgeries I've had over the years. Although life is extremely tough everyday, there a greater purpose behind the things we must go through. What gets me though everything is having faith in the Good Lord - nothing else. Well, video games help too. Take Care with everything.
