I pretty much hope it won't be necessary, but since it will be, I hope they'll keep it ^^

If they do, they should include all the default character models in the list of forceable models

They most probably will keep this feature. But actually I also enjoy playing vs different looking enemies. I only hope it won't be too much of a problem for u guys to adapt if there is no force default!

Shouldn't take much time at all.

I hope I don't need it.
If I do I hope they include it, so not all modes need to use UTComp (or whatever the popular comp/fix mutator will be) all the time.

I hope they keep it. Though it would be nice to see all the models first then forcemodel. How about a command?

If they do have I won't force at first (will also have weps showing, but will change that after a bit), I'll only force after a while.

I hope they ditch it and replace it with a semi-intelligent missing skin/model-matching system that can only be overruled by the creator of the custom-skin/model and the server.

In other words : if someone has "Pimpin' Gorge"-skin then I'd rather have the game show me "default Gorge"-skin instead of a 'forced' default-model.

As a result "force model" would replace all custom-skins for the default models with their 'defaults' at worst. It would also keep the sounds more or less the same.
ie : 'nude Lauren' would still use 'default lauren' sounds/taunts instead of Gorge's (or whatever default-model was forced).

I don't really care; I think force defaults only gets in the way in teamgames.
I'd much rather have all skins properly and equally visible, and with only minor differences between the animations (i.e. not female skins doing flips and hanging upside down 90% of the time while the male skins stay upright all the time)

If every models/skins are pretty much the same size and have no additional animation, its not needed anymore. However the ability to choose which models you can see and which you can't, if you allow custom model etc... more configurations. So if there is one characters I really hate (say, Mr. Crow in UT2004) I could disable him easily. I could also ask the game to deactivate any custom models and randomly replace him with another characters of the same gender.

These are options I would love, much more than a simple force model which isn't even in the menu. But what I want more than anything else is for every models to be "fair", no bigger one, no smaller one, no "invisible-in-some-surface" character...
