I'll also be buying another one or two gigs of RAM once it ships and swapping out the default HD for one with 16MB cache instead of 8, and buying a dedicated Windows drive.

The 3GHz upgrade seemed like a lot of money for a meager boost so I stayed away.

Since you're waiting for UT2007 anyway, by the time it comes out, Intel *should* have released the quad core processors. You might as well wait an extra month and see what happens.
