Thats right, you've all been waiting for it!

News fresh from the gaming floor!

August 23, 2006 - We got a chance to see an updated build of Unreal Tournament 2007 at the German Games Convention, and thanks to producer Jeff Morris, get some of our pressing questions about the title answered.

The rest of the article you can find here

To potentially counter this destructive machine, the Axon had one other machine, the Leviathan, which is a massive tank with some decent cannon fire. While the front cannon is enough to take out a number of threats, it's much better when there are five people manning each individual turret on the tank, which each have their own firepower

Can I get a lol?

Whoo. Now to wait for some vids to come from there. The HL2:EP2 and Portal games' playdemos there were damn good.

"Along with the solid single and multiplayer campaign and maps, there will also be a solid dedication to the mod making community. Epic is dedicated to providing the best experience possible for the fans, and also considers them to be the best extension of the product, according to Morris. To that end, they will be packaging the Unreal Tournament Tool Kit in every single build of the game, and will provide a featured Mod system for those players who dedicate themselves to making the best experience for the community."

i hope this means we get a 3d modelling program and plug in that actually works right out of the box

cross platform play ? Does that mean PS3 players will be able to play with the PC players? That is non-sense to me if its so.

Otherwise there really isn't much new here.

Is it just me or does the texture on the levi look kind of repetitive and tiled, and not enough detail to the 3d model?

While we are already at german articles: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/77258

In einigen Szenarien wird es sogar möglich sein, dem Gegner die Baupläne für seine Spezialfahrzeuge zu stehlen, um diese dann selbst bauen zu können.
Translated:

In some scenarios it will be even possible to steal from the opponent the structural drawings for its special vehicles in order to be able to then build these.

I think it's just the material it's made out of is unique and tiled in design.

Well, I think it looks kind of cheesy, but I could be wrong, it was a very low res picture and I have no idea what detail settings were used.
