Hey I noticed people on here's signature pictures are below average at BEST. Not to be cocky, but I'm definately better with making sigs than whoever y'all get to do em.

I'll take one or two requests at a time, if anyone needs a sig. You may have to supply me with the pic of whichever character or whatever I can do the rest from scratch.

Your creation is pretty cool and you definitely have more talent at making sigs than myself (if I happened to be one of the individuals that you were pointing out).

Anyhow, I've barely scratched the surface of what's capable, since I just started Photoshop-ing (or Paint Shop Pro-ing) myself. Hell, I'm a stinkin' noob when it comes to these programs and obviously a below average talented individual at BEST [face_raised_brow], so if the Master of Sigs has any tips - please feel free to share.

I've only spent two full days doodling around with computer graphics so far since I usually work old-school with nothing but a pencil and paper. Anyhow, my latest Devastation sig came out pretty cool - well, I think at least.

Dude, I'm definitely just playin' around and believe me, I'm all about constructive crticism - after all, that's what ultimately makes artists better at what they do. It's just that developing talents (like every thing in life) is ultimately a logical progression - and I'm just now starting off with computer graphics.

I appreciate the offer to make me a sig, but you really don't need to go out of your way and spend hours on something for me. Personally, I'd rather just continue to experiment myself with these programs - since I naturally derive more enjoyment and satisfaction from creating my own work. Thanks again though.

@ Blackmon I'm not trying to start competition here, I'm just judging from the several sigs I've seen I'm sure Oven knows what he's doing there's lots of PS-ers out there.


Again upping the point of this thread ... Free 10-minute-made sigs if anyone wants one. You will have to use Raptor/Syzygy for a week on Live as a punishment, er, payment.

See my problem is I knew how to do alot of things with photoshop a few years ago...like 6 now.I just forgot how to do a bunch of crap.So i get in there trying to jog my memory and end up playing around with features more that anything.

@ Shred, I got both pics from www.clantemplates.com ... Go to renders and then pick a game there's tons.

@ Gameneo, I use Adobe Photoshop. And about the gun, I'm guessing maybe an enforcer but I have no clue.

If you're doing it in Photoshop, double click your text layer on the layer map, and a window should pop up with a bunch of things like Drop Shadow, Outer Glow, etc. Fool around with Outer Glow, Drop Shadow, and Gradient overlay at first till you get the hang of it.

Here's one of my fav. sigs. Made it for myself. It's not a real terrorist it's actually a music video clip of one of my favorite rappers. And the dark red background is the color of the forum I use it on, so it actually looks like the "TV Screen" is popping out.

^^Thanks you four ... And Shred, I made the sig with everything but the movie-clip in Photoshop, then imported it to ImageReady which comes standard with PS, and added the clip in from there. ImageReady is all about animations.


Another sig, with even more animation. Took forever to do all the frames. (Once again the dark red is the site's background and when used on that site it looks like the Text is floating there.)

She is Dooku's apprentice of sorts.She is comics and the CloneWars cartoon only.Sith hoe basically.Though she is never knighted a true Sith Lord due adherence to the "Rule of two".She is a Sith in general terms but not truly.Mre of one of Sidious' pawns.She has dual Lightsabers that can connect end on end for a boStaff Saber.

She's pretty dang cool.

Cool, thanks for the background info. I never really kept up-to-date with the prequels as much - since I'm still a hard-core original Trilogy fanatic. Don't get me wrong, Star Wars is Star Wars - and Revenge of the Sith definitely redeemed Episodes 1 & 2. However, George Lucas slightly butchered his masterpiece in many ways.

"But I was going into Tashe Station to pick up some power converters." Luke sounds like a little gay-wad with that real high tone of his during that sequence.

Make the sig in Photoshop the go to file>Jump to image ready.

Then you'll see an animations browser at the bottom.

What you do is keep clicking the thing that looks like a sheet of paper to make ur animation cells or whatever.

On each cell I just alter layer transparency by 5% on the background, and like 100 to 50 to 0% with the name.

Faster, smoother way is in frame 1 make it 100%, in Frame 2 make it 0%, and then click frame 1 and click the tween button and choose however many frames.

Those are cool looking, are they supposed to be signatures? I really dig the first design - I have a blue hoodie with a similar tribal effect on it. The second one has a very Matrix inspired feel.

Try taking the top image and putting it on a seperate layer over the bottom image, and then fool around with the upper layer's blending mode, try Overlay, or Soft Light.

Try taking the top image and putting it on a seperate layer over the bottom image, and then fool around with the upper layer's blending mode, try Overlay, or Soft Light.

Do you plan to actually change your gamertag over Xbox Live and such? Hmm, sometimes a new change is liberating. About 6 months ago I began spelling my real life name differently - and it's a revitalized feeling. Change can alwys be good.

One of my best works in my opinion, you'll really enjoy it if you've used Photoshop but still you'll get the idea if you haven't used it.

And once again, all the dark red you see is the exact color of the forum I use it on's background, so on that site, it looks like its just sitting in my sig rather than a seperate box.

PS: Everything was either drawn by me or screen-capped and then animated in Imageready.

I saw taht a few days ago.I like the text on the Batman one.

I have recently been able to watch Tim Burtons Batman again.I watched it so much when I was a kid I had the background noises memorized.Anyway it's been on HBO alot.That movie is dark and comic bookish.IT rules.Still have'nt seen Batman begins.I need to go rent that junk.

I prefer doing the Red Background or w/e cuz when the pic has rough edges, it sometimes messes up and there's white crap on the edges.

Dude, Batman Begins is actually a killer flick - best Batman film of them all, hand down. Plus they have a Lamborghini Murcielago in there.[face_drooling]

As much as I love the 2 Burton Batman movies with Keaton, Snoogans is right. Begins is the best of them all. It tells of the true story behind the origin of Batman, and it leans a lot more to the comics than any other movie did. In my opinion it's the best superhero film up to date.

Ya, like Acid mentioned, it had a more darker vibe this time around. The Tank Batmobile is an aquired taste, but it definitely works well with the film. As far as the acting goes, it still feels top notch.
