Its been over a year now since the game was release, and I feel we should get a decent figure on who still plays. [face_applause]

It's sad, so much potential, gone down the drain. Due to lazy developers not patching it. and originally lazy codeing and testing, whcich caused it.

There has never once been a formal apology about this defective game.

Too many active players like too quit alot....DARK SIM!!! Whoa, where did that come from? Anyway, I agree with you riddle, 1000%. Lots of potential, but perhaps due to the hype of next gen, it might've just took the joy of fixing this game. Who knows the story?

Just envision if you will, Epic deciding to postpone the initial April '05 release date of UC2, and creating this game for the 360's launch - ultimately giving more time to polish up the issues. This game would've had much greater success.

That would be smart, yes indeed, and it would've probably been release around this time.

I seriously wonder if Epic did consider releasing UC2 for the 360 - being that the launch was only 6 months or so away?

I've been getting kinda upset with newer games lately and have been kickin' it old-school. Personally, I'm really getting tired of everything having to be super competitive and needing to buy the next-best game. Instead, I've been playing my 3DO, 32X, Sega CD, Dreamcast, Master System, etc. These games remind me of a time when gaming was just pure fun.

Since the days of mario, we always tried to top each others score, and even see who would finish the game fastest. Ahhh, good times. [face_peace]

Crap, I love competition and all, but I'd much rather derive fun out of a game than only play because of trying to beat someone else. It all depens on my mood I guess.

Hey snoog, I was on your server the other day. My tag is RoK NeFariouS. Unfortunately, my xbox broke, and I can no longer play Uc2. Maybe we can play some games on the 360. [face_cool]

Cool bro, I'm definitely down whenever - you've always been one of the cooler people on these boards. Anyhow, I only have a few games for 460 at the moment, as I only play this console every now and again. Heck, I suppose it's that way all the time. Damn this short attention span of mine - lol.

I manage to pick up a few titles. Maybe you have 1, or 2 of these... PDZ, Quake 4, BFMC2, Top Spin, Graw

I have Quake 4, PGR3, COD2, and Oblivion. I'll pick up Top Spin 2 eventually, but am holding off for Rockstar's soon to be released Table Tennis game in 3 weeks.

Battlefield 2 is a really fun game, but I already have an original Xbox copy that's basically the same thing. I did think about picking this game up for the 360 since the demo looked really pretty in 1080i, but I can;t seem to justify dropping another $60 bones on a flashier looking vesion which I'll rarely play at the moment. Not to mention - EA's behind the helm.[face_angry]

I never once experience lag in this, ever, and this game is even better on the 360.

Is the lag better?

And it is true that most people didn't/don't play cuz of it, right?

EA is a conglomerate mess trying to whore out the industry in favor of their less than ethical business practices.

EA just have a war that first started with ESPN makers. (Don't know what they really call themselves). But now they want the best title for all sports. But I will give it to them because "most" (I could be argued) of there games are hot and/or challenging.

This game has had it it times....supposedly theres a 3rd generation.
The first was all about the Great Old Skooolers who people talk about to this day.
The second generation which i was a part of, was RIP and IIHBII and all those clan matchs.
And If there was a 3rd generation who would it be? hmmm

Is that why you're waiting for UC2 to become backwards compatible?
